What is a Teen Debit Card Account?

A Teen Debit Card account gives you safe, easy access to your money. There are no fees to open the account and no minimum balance is required. You can manage your money with online banking and our mobile app. Once you’ve set up online banking, you can enroll in eStatements, set text alerts for when your balances are low and deposit checks quickly by taking a photo with the mobile app.

Teen Debit Card Accounts are not eligible for Overdraft Privilege and will not incur overdraft fees.  When sufficient funds are not available a transaction is declined.

What fees will I be charged?

All accounts require a $50 deposit to open the account, but there is no fee to open. There is no minimum balance required and no monthly service charge. If you would like to have a paper statement mailed to you, there is a $3.50 fee per month. You can easily avoid this fee by enrolling in eStatements. You will have access to 30,000 Free ATMs nationwide, and you can receive cash back for free at the register. If you use a non-GreenState ATM, you will be charged $2.25 per transaction, plus any fees the owner of that ATM may charge.
