About GreenState Credit Union

In 1938 a group of State University of Iowa Hospital employees got together and formed a small credit union to help serve staff at the University hospital. In 1966 the credit union expanded to serve all staff, students and alumni and became University of Iowa Credit Union. In 1988 the credit union’s charter expanded to serve area residents as University of Iowa Community Credit Union (UICCU). Much has changed over the years, including our name in 2019 to what it is today: GreenState Credit Union. Yet the commitment to serving the needs of the families who work for the University of Iowa and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics remains the same. 1 -	Open a new active free checking account and receive $100. $100 bonus will be directly deposited to the account once it is determined the account has met the requirements, is active and in good standing after the end of the qualification period. 2 -	Receive $100 cash back when you refinance a loan from another financial institution to GreenState. Offer does not apply to refinancing of existing GreenState loans or to new GreenState loans. $100 cash back will be directly deposited into member’s account after vehicle insurance is verified, title is secured, and first payment is made. Member’s account must be in good standing to receive bonus payment. 2016 or newer model vehicles only. Cash back offer may end at any time. Loan amount must be greater than $10,000. 3 -	The closing cost credit will be provided on your final mortgage closing disclosure. Limit One credit per mortgage. Must be requested prior to closing. Loans are subject to approval and credit qualifications.
