Marty Owings

Marty is a licensed agent with GreenState Insurance and has been part of the team since 2017.  He has been an insurance agent for 20 years and uses his knowledge of the industry to assist our members with finding the appropriate coverages at the best value.  He specializes in Home, Auto, and Life insurance and is a great resource for those who are first time home buyers or moving from out of state.  He was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and understands the needs of the local community.  After graduating Kirkwood with honors, he went on to complete his Bachelor of Science degree at Bradley University where he obtained a degree in Business Management and Marketing.  Marty has two boys ages 9 and 12.  Outside of the office you can find him volunteering at a variety of local organizations or attending his boys’ sports practices and events.  He enjoys listening to audio books, walking, camping and being outside on hot sunny days.  Marty prides himself on taking care of the member and is known for finding creative solutions that best fit the individual needs of his customers.
